Always had good luck here with the load being ready ....but the one time it wasn't it was past drop dead time and overweight.... and they were extremely rude about fixing it ....lost 2 days here
Tyson in Lexington, NE is a good place to pick up load bars if you need them. They keep a stockpile of left behind bars (plenty of them TransAm's) free for truckers to grab outside the guard shack.
ReplyDeleteA lot of drivers like to park and wait in the Walmart parking lot with a laundry mat nearby. The WiFi password for the laundry mat is "cleanclothes". You can pick up the signal from the parking lot.
Tyson/IBP - Dakota City, NE: Traveling south on IBP Ave. The main shipping office is the FIRST right turn as you approach the plant. You are sometimes directed to drop your empty in the "south lot". The south lot is the first right AFTER the traffic light.
ReplyDeleteIf you miss your turns, the roadway is restricted to trucks, DON"T PANIC and try to turn around in the roadway. There are some appropriate places to turn around just past the Tyson plant.
